Overview
What specialty services work actually involves
Not every restoration project is a straightforward water or fire loss. Sometimes the structure is fine but the contents are not. Sometimes the problem is an odor with no visible source. Sometimes a storm opens a roof, or a situation requires a level of care and discretion that goes well beyond ordinary cleaning.
These projects have one thing in common: they need judgment more than they need a checklist. What can be saved, what has to go, what sequence protects the rest of the property, and where our scope ends and a specialty trade begins — those are assessment decisions, and we make them in front of you rather than after the fact.
Where a situation requires a licensed specialist we do not have — certain hazardous materials, for example — we say so directly and help coordinate the right trade. Telling you that clearly is more useful than taking on work we should not.
Warning Signs
When to call us
Any one of these is worth a phone call. Several together usually means the problem is larger than it appears.
Damaged belongings and contents
Furniture, textiles, documents and electronics often need different handling than the structure does.
Persistent odor with no obvious source
Odors that survive normal cleaning usually have a source embedded in a material somewhere.
Storm, wind or fallen-tree damage
Openings in the envelope need stabilizing before weather adds to the original loss.
Vandalism or break-in damage
Board-up, cleanup and restoration of the affected areas, handled discreetly.
Situations requiring sensitive cleanup
Some circumstances call for discretion and appropriate protocols, coordinated with the right specialists.
Post-construction or heavy soiling
Deep cleaning after construction, or after a property has been left in poor condition.
Our Process
How we approach specialty services
The sequence we follow, start to finish.
- 1
Assessment and scope definition
We evaluate the situation on site and define exactly what is in scope — and what is not.
- 2
Stabilization
Anything actively getting worse — an open roof, spreading contamination — is stopped first.
- 3
Inventory and triage
Contents are inventoried and sorted into salvageable, restorable and non-salvageable.
- 4
Specialized treatment
Cleaning methods are matched to the material and the contaminant rather than applied uniformly.
- 5
Odor and air quality work
Where odor is present, we treat it at the source and filter the air rather than masking it.
- 6
Return and reconstruction
Restored contents are returned and any structural repairs within our scope are completed.

Where We Work
Specialty Services across Greater Sacramento
We take on specialty restoration work throughout Sacramento, Auburn and Folsom. Foothill properties toward Auburn see a particular mix — wind and fallen-tree damage in winter, wildfire smoke intrusion in late summer — and both tend to affect contents as much as they affect the structure itself.
